Covid-19 update

Acupuncture and Massage therapy appointments will be reopened May 1st, 2020.
Unless State and Federal guidelines are changed.
In our office:

  • Therapy sessions by appointment only, no walk ins
  • 30 minutes between appointments
  • Medical Linen Services
  • PLENTY of disinfectants, soaps, gloves, hand sanitizer
  • All Practitioners take CEus on Infectious disease.
In our office we added additional measures:
  • Masks and temperature screening
Still, after all these precautions we have not been taking appointments since March 19th.
We take the health of our clients very seriously.
Our decision to stay temporarily closed was based off of the number of cases of COVID-19 in our area and our inability to practice social distancing for 1-2 hour sessions. Although medical massage is still being practiced in some offices in Oregon we decided on the side of social responsibility for our own practice.  Our clientele varies in age, occupation, and health conditions. At this time we feel it would be a risk to our clients, ourselves and our families to keep our office open in April.  We will keep you updated on any changes.
We support the stay at home solution to COVID-19.
Stay safe and healthy,
Sara McEldowney
Owner @ Eastern Flow Massage

deeptisDeep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue targets the deep tissue structure of the fascia and muscles. Focusing on relieving the tension and chronic knots. Breaks up and eliminates scar tissue from previous injuries. Slow, consistent, and firm pressure is applied gliding along an individual muscle from origin to insertion. Accessing the muscle belly to breaking up adhesions.

CranioSacral is a very gentle and relaxing form of bodywork. This therapy evaluates the body’s craniosacial system and assists in the release of restrictions which inhibits the body’s normal healing tendencies. This system plays a vital role of maintaining the environment in which the central nervous system functions. It is a network of membranes and fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord as well as the attached bones, including your skull and sacrum.

Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. The inhaled aroma from these “essential” oils is widely believed to stimulate brain function.
Essential Oil is no charge with a Customized Massage. Choose from Aromatherapy, Peppermint, Bergamot, Lemongrass, Lavender, Orange, Clove or Chamomile.
